Counseling for Men: 3 Tips on How Other Men Get More Sex

Men, want more sex?  Try going to church, cleaning more...and watching the roving eyes.

Counseling for Men Tips on How Men Get More Sex

Here are some interesting research findings Dr. Phil discovered and posted in Love, Sex and the American Man.  Give them a try and see if they improve your relationship.

Sex & Church

A University of Kentucky study found that women who believe that intimacy possesses "a divine or transcendent quality" want to have more sex.  "Ascribing sacred qualities to sex has been positively associated with positive affective reactions to sex, frequency of sex..." says Jessica Burris one of the researchers.  Tip: Guys take your partner to church and see what happens when you get home.

Chores & Sex

An online study of 6,877 married couples published in the Journal of Family Issues found that men who did more chores, got more sex.  The study confirms earlier findings that wives find their husbands more attractive when they vacuum, clean the dishes, and scrub the toilets.  Tip: Guys are you getting this?  Doing chores will get you more sex!  I've recommended this for years when counseling men.

Roving Eyes

The average man stares at around 10 different women every day for a total of 43 minutes according to a British survey.  That's 259 hours - almost 11 days - each year.  Sounds a bit high to me.  I know some men do more, but as for the average guy, the total time seems slightly exaggerated.  Ironically, the survey also found that women peek too -- looking at an average of 6 men a day for about 20 minutes.

Here's a finding I know is true -- more than half of the men surveyed admitted they have also been left red-faced after being caught looking at women.  A third of the guys have argued with their partner over their roving eye, and one in 10 confessed to splitting up with a partner because of it.  Tip: Guys our gazing elsewhere kills her desire.
